EDLD 5301, Research, Action Research Reflection

My action research topic is: "How does implementing keyboarding at the primary level benefit students?" From addition of the keyboading software into the labs, I will be collecting quantitative data from weekly timed keyboarding lessons. I believe that most of my data will come from these assessment lessons and/or tests. I will also be taking field notes as the students practice general lessons as observation. My focus group will meet to see how we can incorporate the practice of keyboarding skills into other projects for other subjects. They will also give me feedback on what I need to change or what is working throughout this research. At the end of the school year, it will be time to wrap up the research and begin the evaluation process. If needed, it will run into the summer months.
