EDLD 5301-Research-Week 2 Assignment Reflection

In completing this week's assignment, I have a better understanding of how action research can utilized in a school setting. In each area of passions, examples were given on how action research was utilized and what the results were from the research. I met with my site supervisor on what topics would be helpful to our school environment. We came up with 3 topics that I am effect my position in teaching technology and would benefit others. Ultimatley, I decided to research on how keyboarding classes help at the primary level of education. Students will be doing more typing than writing at some point, and need to master the skills at an early age. This topic falls under the passion of student performance, but after the research, I hope to have it fall under the passion of curriculumn for further research. In the primary level, finding time to implement keyboarding would be the key.
